Not So Wordless Wednesday – Is This My Sewing Room?

sewing room

I’ve have been very busy this last week doing some very in depth cleaning which has been long over due. One of the first things I did was to clean and organize my sewing room. In fact, I cleaned it so well that I’m not even sure it is still my sewing room! Even my sewing machine has been put away (temporarily).

We do have some very special out of town guests coming to visit this weekend which did give me the incentive to get things done. I’m sorry I don’t have a before picture, but just imagine these cabinets opened with their interiors spilling out, 2 folding tables set up plus my full size ironing board right in the middle of all of it. There was truly barely any room to walk.

I’m very happy with the way the room looks, even if it means that I can’t sew right now. I don’t have time to sew anyway, so it takes away the temptation! Oh, let me just warn everyone, DON’T OPEN THE CLOSET DOOR! :-D

When I saw the picture I immediately thought this must be the room for unexpected guests. I suppose I wasn’t too far off! I would love to see what’s hiding the closet though ?

Oh c’mon you KNOW we wanna see inside that closet! You can show US! :-D You’re lucky to have such a sweet little room all your own for your hobby, and it looks so nice, but I bet that room is more happy when all your sewing stuff is around. :-)

Duni – You’ll have to come back, I’m planning to show the closet. Unfortunately, I’m having a hard time getting a photo that shows just how stuffed full it is!
