My sister Grace has crafted this tote bag out of all reds, pinks and white quilt quality cotton fabric. It has a pocket on the outside as well as several more on the inside and closes with an 18 inch zipper. She had fun adding the rick rack on the front and the cute heart button to complete the Valentine theme.

This bag is on sale for only $35 plus shipping. She accepts payment via PayPal. If you’re interested, you can leave a comment here.

It can be difficult to find safe and secure websites offering online games for kids, but I’m here to tell you that MEGA Brands Kids Zone is a site you can let your children visit. My 12 year old daughter played several of the games including “Dragons Metal Ages” and “Legends King Arthur”. She did think they were rather violent, but enjoyed them nonetheless. The graphics were pretty good as well from what I could tell. She played them on both my desktop computer and our laptop which has a smaller screen. She was successful in playing the games on both computers. My daughter enjoyed the games she played because they were easy to learn and quick to play.
I discovered a Drawing game that I found to be very enjoyable. While I could have chosen a blank canvas, I opted to go with a black & white poster that I could color. It was fun, and, although I’m not yet finished, I wanted to share what I was doing. This reminds me of the posters I used to buy and then color when I was my daughter’s age. While coloring, the cursor changes to look like a colored pencil, marker, crayon or eraser, whichever tool you’re using. There are almost 50 colors to choose from which makes the possibilities unique.
Between the drawing game and the arcade games that are filled with dragons, dungeons, and plasma creatures, there are plenty of games to choose from and something for all ages at the MEGA Brands Kids Zone. I do wish I could have found something that said what ages some of the games were intended for. I wouldn’t want a younger child playing a more violent shoot out game, but the drawing was certainly fun for everyone! A finished drawing can even be printed out to go on the refrigerator!

A while back I had entered a contest sponsored by Parent Reviewers and Dymo, manufacturer of some of the best label makers I’ve ever had the privilege to use. Then, just before Christmas, I received notice that I had WON! I was thrilled beyond words. Since we moved almost 2 years ago, I’ve been unable to locate our label maker and having one is such a great organizational tool, not to mention how handy a label maker is for assisting with school projects. Not long after that, I came home to find a package at my front door. I wanted to rip it open right away, but I did pause just long enough for my daughter to snap a quick photo. I knew I would be wanting to write about this very special occasion!
At first, I couldn’t think of anything I had ordered so was surprised to see the package. Then, my surprise turned into
delight when I realized that my brand new, shiny, super easy to use Dymo LetraTag Personal Labelmaker was inside. I ripped open the package and was even more thrilled when I realized that they had also included 7 additional rolls of label maker tape in a variety of colors, including a magnetic tape, plus AA batteries. How cool is that?!
So, my tackle for this week, besides getting this post written finally, is to get all of my electronic cords labeled. It drives me nuts when I’m looking for the camera cord and can’t figure out what cord goes to which electronic device. I’m going to feel so much better when everything is organized and labeled! WOOHOO! I do feel like a winner!

I haven’t had too much time this weekend to spend on the computer. Between giving my kitchen and family room a thorough, much needed cleaning, doing laundry, shopping for school project supplies and then watching the Superbowl, I just haven’t had much time. All of this leads me to why I am now feeling frustrated with Entrecard.
I was attempting this evening to drop my entrecards using my desktop computer. This meant I was having to drop during the big game. My daughter is using the laptop for her school project. Unfortunately, I’d only dropped about 60 cards when Entrecard suffered yet another outage. This occurred before half-time and now the game is over and I still can’t drop cards. I have to go to work in the morning so I can’t stay up and wait for them to fix the problem.
So, once again, I find myself apologizing, although I did try very hard. If I did not get to you, I am sorry. Hopefully they will be up and running tomorrow and I will certainly try again.
