A Nurse’s Guide
My niece graduated from college with her nursing degree last summer and I’ve found this great online resource that I’m going to suggest to her, Scrubs. I’ve been checking out this site and what I think is really cool about it is that anyone, no matter what their nursing level, can find useful information on this site. In fact, I’m not a nurse, not even close, and I found this great article that I can use myself.
The article that caught my own attention is titled Nurses Nail It and it’s full of great tips on keeping your hands and fingernails healthy and attractive, all at minimal cost with do it at home solutions. Now that’s an article I can use!
Scrubs, the Nurses Guide to Good Living, is super easy to navigate and the articles are in a language that just about anyone can understand. It’s also set up in a way, similar to a blog, that allows for readers to leave comments. The site itself is pleasing in appearance and I highly recommend it.
I know a specific article my niece would appreciate is titled Praying With a Patient, something very close to my niece’s heart. The article actually provides tips on when and how to pray with patients and when it’s appropriate.
If you know anyone who is a nurse, or who may be thinking of becoming a nurse, you may want to recommend Scrubs to them, I’m sure they’d find it very useful.
