Blogging Friends are the Best!

I have to send a HUGE shout out to Mrs. Mecomber of Mrs. Mecomber’s Scrapbook. I have 2 blogs and both were in desperate need of having their Wordpress platform updated. I have attempted on a couple of occasions to accomplish this task on my own and it never fails, something in my blog breaks. It’s frustrating and pretty much makes me feel incompetent.

So, while dropping EC’s the other day, I happened to notice a blogging friend of mine talking about the latest update and the reasons why Wordpress needed to update, yet again. I decided to ask my lovely friend if she would be willing to update my blogs for me and, I shouldn’t have been surprised, she said yes! Her only request of me was to install the Automatic Wordpress Update plugin, which I then had my sister Karen do for me because I knew she could complete that task way faster than me!

Next thing I knew, both of my blogs were running on the most updated Wordpress, 2.8.3 and were finally up to date!

    Grampy – I guess the latest update was due to a security issue, that always causes me concern. I tend to let mine get way behind and then I’ve ended up having trouble with my web host. My updating them now, I’m hoping to alleviate future frustration! :-D
