Bluelight Specials are Back!
My daughter and I have completely redone her bedroom this week. She found a comforter set that she liked and she chose paint colors for the walls that coordinated with the comforter. The final decorative touches have been hanging shelves and bulletin boards. It was this last task that led me to discover that our 20+ year old cordless drill is no longer working. It’s made the job of hanging things on the walls so much harder because I’m having to drill all of those holes by hand in order to get the wall anchors in the drywall. I’m managing to get it done, but it’s a slow process.
When I heard that there would be Kmart Bluelight taking place today, 8/15, I knew I had to go to Kmart! You see, I remember Bluelight specials from when I was a kid and my mom would take us shopping at Kmart. As we’re wandering the store, filling our cart with the necessities, an announcement would come over the store speakers saying, “Attention Kmart shoppers! There is a Bluelight Special in Ladies Shoes!”. Next thing we’d know, we’d be hurrying and scurrying to get to Ladies shoes where we’d find a flashing blue light and great prices on Ladies shoes!
Besides the fantastic prices, Bluelight Specials make shopping fun, there is the thrill of getting a fantastic deal that’s only available for a very short time. Today only, there are over 40 Bluelight Specials that will be taking places through out the store in many different departments. Kmart prices are good anyway, but if you’re still doing your back-to-school shopping, or, like me, need items for the house, you may find kids backpacks on special (Athletech, Route 66 and Licensed) reg. $19.99 – Bluelight $8, or how about all patio furniture 70% off! (+ an extra 20% off during bluelight!) Seriously, I’m hoping to get a new drill today to make my life easier! Plus, you can also take advantage of these great deals online at Kmart.com if you can’t get to a store near you.
You can also follow Kmart on Twitter to keep up with all their offers and great deals.
