An Anniversary and The Queen Mary

13th September 2009

An Anniversary and The Queen Mary

23 years ago today, my husband and I were getting married in the small, beautiful chapel on board The Queen Mary, berthed in Long Beach, California. We had a beautiful, small ceremony performed by the ship’s Captain and I have always cherished these wonderful memories.  The ship was the perfect place for us to have our ceremony.

If you’ve never been to visit The Queen Mary and you get the opportunity, I do recommend it. It is a beautiful ship and reminds us of a day when travel was done mostly by the wealthy and 1st class stood far and above anything else.

To my husband, Happy Anniversary!
