Advent Calendar

posted in sewing |

I know I have been missing in action here lately, but honestly, I really have been busy.  I’ve been working, cleaning, organizing and even attempting to get some holiday decorating done.  All of this while my daughter has been out of school and wanting me to keep her entertained.

Today is the beginning of a new week and I have 3 sewing projects on my to do list.  The first of which is to make this Advent Calendar which has all ready been sold (this is a photo of one I previously made).

So, I may be absent, but I’m still here! :-D

That is so cool looking, I so envy all you creative people. I really should have taken up sewing when I was young maybe it would have kept me out of trouble. Hope you had a good Thanksgiving.

You truly have a talent for sewing. I have a desire to sew, but it’s one of the two things that I have no talent for. Anyway, I truly appreciate talents that other people have that I don’t. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you all! I really enjoy making these project and this one in particular because of the gold thread I use for all the top stitching and quilting. It really makes this project sparkle! :-D
