I’m late with this, but I have a VIP in my house this week (my mom!) and we’ve been super busy. I have a project almost finished that I can’t wait to share with you, but for now, I’m going to post my favorite meme, Four Foods on Friday, hosted by Valmg.

This week’s questions and my answers:

1. What do you do with turkey leftovers? This year, my husband make a big pot of turkey soup and I made a turkey pot pie. Of course, we always have turkey sandwiches!

2. How do you make split pea soup? I don’t care for split pea soup so I don’t make it.

3. What do you like on top of your pie? Most pie flavors I eat by themselves, I don’t care for ala mode, but pumpkin pie has to have a good whip cream!

4. What kind of turkey do you usually buy? I buy whatever is on sale. This year I had a Jenny-O brand and it was quite tasty. :-D

    I wish MY husband would have made a big pot of turkey soup with our leftover turkey, you lucky gal! All we made with our leftovers was sandwiches. Bo-ring. :-P

    Hahahaha….you do the same thing that I do! I always just buy the turkey that’s on sale, except for when my hubby and I raised turkeys for Butterball…the turkeys were free then.

    We made a small turkey this year and gave a lot away so we made turkey salad and had sandwiches with the leftovers. I love split pea soup if it’s made right. have a great Sunday.
