Celebrating with Phantom of the Opera

phantom_opera

My birthday was earlier this week and to celebrate, I bought myself and my family tickets to see Phantom of the Opera!

My husband and I saw this fabulous musical 20 years ago in Los Angeles and tonight we will be taking our daughter to see the live performance here in Dallas. I am so excited and hope it lives up to all the wonderful memories I have of it. Of course, my daughter is having trouble deciding what to wear (she is 14 after all) and my husband has yet to come home, but in the end, it will be worth the trip downtown I am sure!  For now, I sit here waiting to go, tickets in hand.

I hope you all have a wonderful evening, I know I will!

waterrose – One of my favorites too. We saw Wicked in Chicago and it was also fabulous! I’m always amazed to see the special effects they can create for a live performance, amazing!

Ann – I’m not very good at waiting, especially when I’m excited about where we’re going! We did eventually make it last night to the performance, and even managed to arrive on time (barely!).

Karen – It was a lot of fun, even if it was our second time to see it! I enjoyed being able to share it with T and she loved it.

Happy Birthday, what a wonderful way to celebrate. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh the music in that one. LOVE IT. I’ve seen it a number of times and am never disappointed. How cool you’re going to share that now with your daughter. She’s perfect age for it to make a lasting memory for her. I remember when we took our daughter. I’m sitting here smiling thinking about it. She loved the music so she bought the CD. One of her majors ended up being in theatre and to this day, she sings in choirs, weddings etc………

Fabulous way to celebrate a birthday.

    Enjoy
    Sandy
