Weekend Filled With Ball Games
We are headed out tonight to the Chicago White Sox game and my daughter is beside herself with excitement! They are in town playing the Texas Rangers and we took advantage of the opportunity to watch our team play. We purchased our tickets several months ago and can’t believe the day is finally here, along with quite a few thunderstorms! I hope we don’t get rained on!
Tomorrow and Sunday will be spent at a different kind of ball game, softball. My daughter is picking up with another team and they are playing 4 games tomorrow and at least 2 on Sunday in a tournament. At least this one is local, only about 20 minutes from home. We’re excited to see her play with this team and anxious to see how it turns out. We’re hoping it turns into something more permanent. Wish her luck!
