We are gone all day, up and early out the door, before the sun came up.
We are at a softball tournament and it is supposed to be downright smokin’ hot outside today. With temperatures climbing to around 100 degrees, it will take everything we’ve got to keep the players cool, much less those of just there to watch. Who knows, maybe I’ll sweat off a couple of pounds!
I apologize if I’m unable to drop my EC. The more the team wins, the longer we will be gone. Not too sure if I’ll have time or energy to drop when I get home, but will try!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Boudreaux’s Butt Paste. All opinions are 100% mine.
My daughter is 14 now, but I can still remember all those diapers she went through as a baby. She was a pretty healthy baby overall, but I always felt so horrible when she would get a case of diaper rash. I could always tell how irritated her little legs and butt cheeks were with all those little red bumps and the skin looked so vibrant red. Still makes me feel bad just thinking about it!
I always wanted to use the best products on my daughter’s skin, so when it came to preventing or treating diaper rash, I opted for Boudreaux’s Butt Paste. I know there are a lot of different brands to choose from, but this one really works and provides quick relief. It goes on easy and is easy to clean off too. I hated some of those other brands, they felt so greasy like I couldn’t get them off my fingers. It also has a light and pleasant scent that never bothered me. I’m rather sensitive to fragrances, so that’s important to me.
If you have a little one at home now, still in diapers, you may want to check out Boudreaux’s Butt Paste. It’s available in all different sizes, including a handy travel size, easy to tuck into a diaper bag, and is pediatrician recommended.

My daughter played with a particular fastpitch softball team since last August. It was a decent ride, with quite a few bumps along the way. Last month, the team folded leaving the players homeless and all of them looking for a new team. Thankfully, we had sensed something was wrong and my daughter and all ready been speaking with a couple of different teams about the possibility of picking up with them. One team in particular she has actually been working out with for the last 4 weeks. 2 weeks ago, she learned that another team was being created and so she has also been working out with them. This girl has been going to 3 different workouts of 3 hours each, plus a batting lesson each week. No wonder she is so fit!
The good news is that not one, but both teams asked her to sign on! She had to make a very tough decision, but in the end, I think she made the right one. She has chosen the first team and will be playing with them this weekend. She was also invited to play with them for Nationals, but, because we didn’t know about it, we will be out of town visiting our new grand baby! Oh well, she will have plenty of time to play and the plan to go to Nationals again next year so she will still get that opportunity.
Now I can relax, she has found a new, and better, softball home!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Ramblers Way. All opinions are 100% mine.
What comes to mind when you think of wool? I instantly think of all those winter clothes I had as a kid that were so itchy, I couldn’t wait to get home from school and rip them off my body and change into something more comfortable! Yes, they looked good and they were warm, but seriously, I do NOT think they were worth all the discomfort!

Rambler’s Way sources, grows and produces its wool in a responsible and sustainable way. All of their garments are created from super-fine American wool that is “Windspun” so it is extremely soft and it feels amazing next to your skin, not itchy & scratchy like the wools of my childhood. In fact, it’s so comfortable, you may want to make Rambler’s Way garments something you wear every day. Plus, besides being so amazingly comfortable, this wool naturally repels odors so it doesn’t require daily washing. Unlike the wools of old, these wool garments are treated with a patented enzyme treatment in order to prevent shrinkage and are machine washable, no more expensive dry cleaning! In other words, Rambler’s Way garments are made in America, are 100% natural and are chemical free. What else could you possibly ask for in clothing?!

It’s days like these that I have to ask myself, “why is the dog able to get a mani/pedi, and yet I sit here in dire need, unable to go to a manicure shop due to lack of time and money?!”
This is obviously one very spoiled dog!
(I do have it on my to do list to get a pedicure before heading to California next week. Let’s see if I actually manage to get it accomplished!)
