Mission Menu Challenge
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Mission Foods. All opinions are 100% mine.
Mission Foods is continuing to host its Mission Menu Challenge that began on June 28. This is good news for me because I’m a big fan of Mission Flour Tortillas. Submit a budget friendly recipe to the Mission Menus Challenge for a chance to participate in the cook off which will be held in Los Angeles. The big winner will get a $10,000 kitchen makeover (my dream!), plus, there are weekly prizes being given away too. And, the Grand Prize winner will get round-trip airfare and hotel accommodations for two to the Mission Menus Challenge Cook-off on September 10, 2010 at the Hard Rock CafĂ© in Los Angeles. There are only a few more days to get your entry in, the deadline is August 9, 2010.
Like I said, I really like Mission Flour Tortillas, they are very popular in my kitchen. I’ve taught my daughter how to make cheese quesadilla in the microwave as an after school snack and my husband can use them to make me a morning breakfast burrito when we’re on the go. I also use them for soft tacos at dinner, they don’t fall apart like other brands. Another one of my favorite recipes to use them in is Chicken and Sour Cream Enchiladas, yum! I’d tell you my recipe, but I think I’m going to enter it in the Mission Menus Challenge! For other recipes (not mine) you can visit www.missionmenus.com.
I try to maintain a healthy diet because of inherited high cholesterol, and Mission Flour Tortillas have 0% Trans Fats and are cholesterol free, I knew they were good, but they help me fight my cholesterol too! Besides helping me personally fight high cholesterol, Mission Foods also supports Share Our Strength, a national organization that is committed to fighting and ending childhood hunger in the U.S.A., yet another reason to buy Mission Flour Tortillas!
