I have been a huge fan of Toby Keith for as long as I can remember. He appeared on The Bonnie Hunt show this morning and I enjoyed the interview, so I thought I would share it here. It brought smiles to my face, something that has been lacking of late. Enjoy!
My daughter is a huge fan of Twilight. She’s read all the books and seen all the movies. She cannot wait until this Wednesday when the movie satire Vampires Sucks is released in theaters. Watch this official trailer, I think it looks pretty funny to me!
This is week 2 of the high school marching band camp. Last week was just the freshman (my daughter included) and this week the upperclassmen, drill team and color guard have all joined in. The temperatures remain in the 100’s, today it is supposed to be 105. It’s been absolutely crazy! My daughter is doing really well with the marching and is only freaking out about having to memorize the music. I know she will get done what she needs to get done, but she is a perfectionist and puts a lot of pressure on herself. Next week should be easier, they do the camp in the evenings instead, giving her the entire day to work on her music.
By the way, there are over 600 kids out on this field. Sorry about the photo quality, it’s taken with my phone and looking into the sun.
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Boost Mobile. All opinions are 100% mine.
I am no longer under contract with my current cell provider so I am actively checking out my current provider as well as other providers and comparing plans and costs. I’ve had my current cell phone for 2+ years, so I’m also looking at phones and deciding what features are most important to me. I have a family plan with 4 phones on my plan, so I want to make sure I find something that works for everybody.
One of the providers I’m checking out is Boost Mobile. With Boost, there are no contracts, it is a pay-as-you-go program. They offer flat rate plans that include the most popular features, talk, text, web and email. A big plus in my mind is that they have no activation fee, no roaming charges and no long distance charges. They also make it very easy to pay the bill because payment can be made in person, online (my favorite way) or by phone, all of which make it simple to Re-Boost. You can even set up automatic payments so you never have to worry about forgetting to make you payment.
They also have a large choice of phones ranging from the most basic all the way to the high end Blackberry, a phone I’ve seriously been contemplating. I see so many people using their phones to update their social media pages including Facebook. I haven’t figured out how to do that yet, but hope to accomplish that when I get a new phone.
Boost Mobile is available nationwide with very competitive rates and service. Because they are available through many major retailers, I’m going to check out their phones in person, only because I have to be able to touch and feel before I make my final decision. I’ll let you know which phone and what extra features I get!
I can’t believe it’s been a couple of weeks all ready since we went to California. It was such a fast trip and we returned home and jumped right back into our daily routines. But, one of the places we were able to visit for part of a day was Santa Monica. Our 14 year old had only been to the ocean once before and it was a very foggy, chilly day, not a lot of fun. So we made it a point to try again this trip. We had lunch at Bubba Gumps at Santa Monica Pier and then walked around the pier checking out all of the tourist shops. By the time we had ridden the roller coaster and bought some souvenirs, the sun was shining and we headed for the beach. My husband crapped out and sat on his towel, but my daughter & I had so much fun diving into the waves. I am so glad we were able to do this and it’s a memory we will always cherish.
