If you are a Texan, you know all about Homecoming Mums, if you are not, or have never lived in Texas, you probably have no idea what I’m talking about!

October is month that high schools around this country are celebrating Homecoming. There are football games and dances and other events, all to celebrate the homecoming of previous graduates. Here in Texas, there is one tradition that has become, for lack of a better word, GINORMOUS. That is the Homecoming Mum. Watch this video and you might get a feel for what I’m talking about. Texans will find this to be hysterical!

    That is too funny. I went to high school in Okla and we had homecoming mums also but not to that extent. LOL, leave it to Texas to do it bigger and better.
