After Holiday Sales
Did anyone go out shopping yesterday to hit the after Christmas sales? My daughter and I did go out about 9:30 and went to Macy’s and a few other stores that were open in the mall. We were able to take advantage of sales and email coupons so I felt pretty good. We were home by 1 so I didn’t feel worn out from shopping! My daughter picked up a pair of jeans she’d been wanting and used her gift card. I found a nice down coat that I will need for this upcoming weekend when we head up north to Kansas City. Also used a coupon on that so got it at a very good price.
Today I think I am going to surprise my daughter by taking her to Best Buy to get her a new phone. Her cell phone broke a couple of months ago and so she is using my very old phone. I think it’s on its last leg, some of the buttons don’t even work! I promised her a new phone for her birthday which is the beginning of March, but Best Buy has the phone she wants at an excellent price with no activation fee. So, I think I’ll go ahead and take advantage of that now. I will be working until noon and then I think we will go have some lunch and go get her a new phone.
