Paper Crafting

posted in family |

I haven’t been feeling too motivated in the sewing department of late, but I do have a deadline to meet next week, this time it involves paper crafting.

My daughter is on the high school softball team and, as a member of the booster club, I am responsible for creating a locker decoration for each team member.  The decorations are themed around a certain game/opponent, in my case, they are playing the panthers.  So, I successfully coaxed my husband into creating the design on the computer, and it’s been my job to get it printed off, and then create something with it.  I’ve opted to create a layered card that is about 7 1/2 x 9 inches.  I’m jazzing up the card stock with glitter (oh joy!!) and ribbon.  Each card will have each players name and number on it and I will place a magnet on the back with which I will attach it to the lockers in the locker room the night before the game.

It’s really a pretty simple project and I am getting a little bit of it done each day.  It’s not hard, just time consuming, and messy (don’t forget about the glitter).  Anyway, it’s keeping me busy!
