I received a coupon for one FRESCHETTA® By the Slice product and decided it was something I really wanted to try.  I work out of my home, so it’s iimportant for me to have good, quality products on hand for lunch for myself.  Sometimes I eat leftovers from the previous night’s dinner, and occasionally I make myself a sandwich, but I enjoy having something fresh and hot, something that makes me feel like I went out to eat like most people do for a work lunch.

Anyway, I headed to the grocery to use my coupon and was pleased to discover that FRESCHETTA® By the Slice comes in 4 different flavors:

I tried the chicken, spinach & muscroom, 3 of my favorite ingredients.  The following day, I popped my slice of pizza in the microwave and in just a couple of minutes, I was enjoying a delicious lunch.  I really enjoyed the flavor and the toppings all tasted pretty fresh.  The crust was a little bit thin in my opinion, but it still tasted good.

I know, now you’re wondering about the Contest. right?  Well, I want to share my good fortune and Freschetta wants to share their pizza with a lucky reader of my blog.  The prize?  A coupon for your very own free  FRESCHETTA® By the Slice.     You know with the price of lunch down here at the hospital, it is almost crazy not to bring your own lunches unless some drug rep decides to treat us and we get bad pizza sometimes or sometimes some good deli. I usually bring cottage cheese/tomato, yogurt and cucumbers with some sort of free dressing. Sad I know but saves me money and I get my protein in with the cottage cheese and yogurt.

    Besides one of my favorite: fried spam (yes, I really do love it), I would have to say my favorite is a tuna sandwich and some Fritos. When I was younger, I would open the sandwich and place the Fritos inside and eat the sandwich that way. Yes, I was a strange kid :)

Honestly, it changes constantly. Lately she’s been favoring grilled Swiss cheese sandwiches on Oatnut bread (she works at home too… for me), but she thinks the By The Slice pizza sounds awesome!     Lunch is my favorite meal of the day. It is when I get to cook because my husband comes home for lunch. Dinner is usually leftovers from lunch…Every thursday i am also helping serving lunch at my son’s school kitchen and it’s good to have a different meal once a week which i did not prepare. they have absolutely the best lunches too!

    When I worked my favorite lunch was a BLT on toast from the resturant nest door but now that I am disable my favorite lunch is a ride to town and get veggie sandwich at subway.
