Children’s Health

This post brought to you by CryoCell International. All opinions are 100% mine.

From the moment our children are born, we as parents want only the very best for them.  We nurture in many different ways, protect them from everything we can, and watch them grow into their own unique personalities.  No matter what we do to protect our children, sometimes, they become sick or injured.  It’s usually as simple as the common cold or cuts & bruises, but occasionally, it can be something more.  Have you ever considered what you might do if your child were to be diagnosed with something more serious like lukemia?

Cryo-cell researchers have learned that non-controversial stem cells found in a woman’s menstrual fluid and stem cells found in the umbilical cord of newborn babies can hold the key to protecting our loved ones from diseases like lukemia, lymphoma and sickle cell anemia.  Visit www.Cryo-Cell.com for more details, but basically, they allow you to collect and cryogenically store your own stem cells from menstrual fluid for future use.   The potential future uses of these stored stem cells give hope to those who may have a family history of any of a number of diseases.

Right now you can visit www.Cryo-Cell.net to request your own information packet and even consult with an advisor.  Plus, they’ll even send you a free BellyBag!

Nuggie Blankie

I ordered this cute little “Nuggie Blankie” from Sammy Jaynes Etsy shop.

Seriously, it’s so cute! I ordered it just the other day and it arrived in the mail today, with a pretty pink ribbon around it, I’m so happy! I purchased it as a gift for my granddaughter, so I’m putting it in a box with a couple of other items and will send it off to California. I know the little one will love snuggling with that soft minkie fabric!

Plinko’s Birthday!

Plinkos birthday

Today’s the day our baby turns 4! I can’t believe it, on the one hand, we still think of her as that cute little puppy we brought home, all full of energy and love. On the other hand, we see her with not quite as much energy, a lot heavier, but just as cute and full of love. Happy Birthday Plinko, we love you!

Captain Jack – in 3D!

captain jack

I don’t get to see too many movies when they’re at the theater, but I always make sure to see Captain Jack on the big screen, and, this time, I even saw it in 3D!  This newest release in The Pirates of the Caribbean series is really good in my opinion.  It’s not as dark and scary as the 3rd movie, and delved back into the intelligent humor that makes Captain Jack such a lovable character.  The original movie is still my favorite, but I’m sure I’ll be adding this one to my dvd collection whenever it gets released.

Have you seen it yet?  Did you enjoy it as much as I did?

My New iPhone 4

Yep! I FINALLY did it! I broke down and got myself an iPhone 4 today, in white!

I have been contemplating a new phone for over a year. I had the absolute nicest sales rep at the Verizon store here in Allen today, Bryan. Super nice and super patient! He got my phone all set up and made some adjustments to my account so that, in the end, I will actually be saving about $30 a month on my plan. Now that’s good service!!

Here’s my new phone…
