The Sewing Mom

I was surfing the web today looking for gifts for my own mom for Mother’s Day when I ran across something I could use for myself (isn’t that always the way it is?). A watch, I could use a new watch!

You see, I currently have a watch that I really enjoy, but, it’s the only watch I own. For the last several years, I’ve been sort of hinting around that I would like to have a more casual watch than the one I currently own. I’d like a watch that is rugged and can stand up to days when I’m doing yard work, or playing around at the softball fields. I also would like that rugged watch to be accurate.

So, while surfing today, I found these Casio watches. These Wave Ceptor watches are inexpensive and yet are calibrated for atomic timekeeping, in other words, the time is automatically set using radio signals. It’s also scratch resistant which would be beneficial when working out in the yard.
