FeeFiFoto is having a Mother’s Day contest, and it’s a really easy contest to enter. Just visit their website, choose the gift you’d like to give and leave a comment on their blog post. Who knows, maybe you’ll be the lucky winner of a personalized photo gift item, up to $50 in value.
Personally, I’d love to win the canvas tote to give as a gift to my Mom this Mother’s Day. With all her traveling, she could sure put a tote to good use.
This contest ends April 14, so, what are you waiting for?

I’m sitting here organizing all of my tax documentation and I noticed a line on our accountants annual tax questionnaire under miscellaneous itemized deductions: Hobby Expense. I had to stop and ask myself if perhaps I’m now allowed to deduct the cost of all the fabric I’m buying? This would be a huge help considering that buying fabric is something I am addicted to.
Speaking of addictions, I can think of 3 addictions that I currently have.
- Buying Fabric
- Blogging
- Entrecard (my newest addiction)
Feeding my new Entrecard addiction would be easier if I could win the Entrecard Credit Giveaway from Mummified Times Five. The contest ends on February 29, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I will win on of the 2 x 1000 Entrecard credit prizes!

I’ve always wanted one of these, a mini chopper! I personally think it would be so handy in the kitchen, particularly for chopping onions. It’s just not something I would buy for myself and for some reason, my husband has never purchased one for me either. So, I’m entering the contest at Melissa’s Place so that I can win one!
She has several ways to enter her contest, so head on over and check it out.

Elizabeth at Mom Reviewsis having a contest that I just had to enter. Why? Because the prize is a $30 gift certificate to Baskin Robbins, one of my all time favorite ice cream destinations!
Having not been in this area a full year, I found that there are actually 4 Baskin Robbins locations surrounding my house! There are 2 locations in Plano, one in Murphy and even one in McKinney, Tx. There is even one I pass by almost daily and will be happy to use my gift certificate there to purchase the Chocolate Indulgence Cake for my husband, the resident chocoholic! Of course, the Oreo Cookie Cake is looking pretty appealing too!
As much as I’d like you all to go visit Elizabeth’s site and enter the contest, the fewer that enter, the better chances I have to win!

Obviously, from the name of my blog, I am a sewer. I truly enjoy creating things from scratch and watching the project grow until it’s completed. This is probably why I enjoy sewing bags. I can create a bag in less than a day, usually. Each and every one is unique and I can make them in so many different ways. I never get bored with them. What I do tend to get bored with is the way my sewing room is organized.
I am always on the lookout for sewing accessories for my sewing room. Currently, I have a craft cabinet that I use for my sewing machine. It has storage and a fold out table which is very nice, but the table isn’t wide enough for when I’m sewing larger projects. I have to keep a hand under the fabric that’s hanging off the edge so that it doesn’t pull on what’s going under the needle. The cabinet would be better used for scrapbooking. I also have a retired computer cabinet that is currently being used to store my fabric stash and miscellaneous craft items such as embroidery threads and fabric paints. This isn’t a bad use of the cabinet, but I would really like to have some shelving units for my fabric so that I can see it at all times. It’s awkward having to pull it in and out of the cabinet to see what I have. I do this a lot when I’m starting a new project.
I was just doing some online shopping and found a great six shelf bookcase at Overstock.com that would be perfect for storing my fabric. It would even give me enough space to expand my fabric stash! Even better though, while I was at their website, I discovered the Game O Love contest that begins tomorrow and runs until February 11.
To enter the Game O Love contest, pick out any item from their website that you’d like to win for your sweetheart (or in my case, myself!) and submit it, along with your email address. Very simple! So take advantage! Get over to Overstock.com's Valentine's Day Game and enter!
