Whenever Easter falls in the month of March, my internal calendar is all screwed up! I know it’s coming, but am I ready? NO!
Every year since my daughter was born, I’ve created a special little Easter basket for her. The centerpiece is always a solid chocolate bunny (of course I also get one for my husband, the chocoholic). Have I done that yet? NO!
I’ve just been so incredibly busy that I haven’t had time to even think about it, so today, in a rare moment of quiet time, I headed over to Coupon Chief and searched for online chocolate stores! Guess what? I found a few and found coupons to use for my online shopping experience!
I’m starting with Dan's Chocolate's Coupons and will see what their chocolate bunny selection looks like. They have some of the best chocolates! When I lived near Chicago, one of my students was a nephew of Dan himself! Occasionally, he would bring in chocolates to share, yum!
If Dan’s doesn’t happen to sell the solid chocolate bunnies (our personal favorite), I’m going to check out ChocolateSource.com coupons to see what they have. Or, maybe, I’ll just have to order from both! Having the coupons makes it so much more affordable.
So, have you done your Easter shopping yet?

I spent this past Sunday cleaning and organizing my sewing room. I even organized my fabrics by color and type. I’m ready to get busy sewing bags and adding to my merchandise inventory so I’ll be ready to sell some of my bags, possibly as early as this May.
One of the fabric stashes I found was Valentine’s Day fabric and it got me in the mood to start sewing bags for the upcoming holiday. I believe I have everything I need, but I’m running low on thread and zippers, so I’m going to use some Joann.com coupons to stock up on notions and maybe even some fabric. I have some pre-quilted Valentine’s fabric that I bought on clearance and plan to make a purse out of that. I should have enough left over to make another type of bag and possibly even a smaller zipper bag too. I might give the zipper bag to my daughter as her Valentine’s Day gift.
While I was organizing my sewing room I realized I could use more direct lighting over my sewing machine. I’m going to look at LampsPlus deals and see if there is a good pole lamp I can set up next to my sewing cabinet. I all ready have a small Ott light that I use on my cutting table and would like something larger. I would also like to find some shelving units to store my fabrics on so I can see them without having to open cupboard doors.
I know I can use CouponChief.com to find coupons for all of these needs and will be able to get my sewing room operating just the way I want it to very soon.
