It’s really amazing to me how something as simple and useful as a door can make a difference to the look of a home. If you’re attempting to sell a home in this economy, every little detail is important. Think about your front door, what type of 1st impression does it make?

When we purchased our last home, it had the most boring metal door and it was painted a primer gray. After moving in, the first thing I did was to paint that door and add a metal kick plate to the bottom. It really was amazing what a difference it made and how much nicer it looked. Eventually I would have like to have completely changed out the door and installed something with a leaded glass insert. The online tool is so easy to use for designing either exterior or interior doors. Soon they’ll be adding patio doors and I know I’ll be using it then. They have so many doors to choose from including my new favorite for my daughter’s bedroom, the Chalkboard Interior Door. This door has an actual chalkboard attached and my daughter would love that! What’s really cool is that I can even upload a photo of my own house to their website and be able to see exactly how a particular door will look before I buy it.
