I love to travel, do you?
When I was much younger, I was fortunate in the fact that my parents were living and working abroad. The opportunity for us to travel to a variety of countries was given to us and we took advantage of it. We visited many places in Europe and even spent 10 days in Kenya on a photographic safari, absolutely amazing! We never had the chance though to visit any place in Asia or Australia and I know there are so many beautiful places there and so much amazing history. I still have these two continents as places I would love to visit.
There are some great hotel deals you should know about if you are traveling to any of the following countries:
- Thailand
- Korea
- China
- Japan
- Hong Kong
- Australia
- Singapore
- Vietnam
- Malaysia
- New Zealand
- Fiji
- Indonesia
- Taiwan
- India
- Bali

My sisters, mom and I are looking into renting a booth at a craft fair to show and sell all of our handmade goods. Considering that we all live in different states, agreeing on a date and location will be no small feat!
One of the best areas for selling hand crafted goods of any type, seems to be Tennessee, where my nephew and his crafting wife live. It’s a beautiful part of the country and it seems to have a number of craft shows to choose from, as well as flea markets and what they call, Mile Long Yard Sales. We could really choose from any of them.
No matter what we do, I’m pretty sure that I will be traveling the farthest and whether I fly or drive, will need a hotel. I don’t know what we used to do to find hotels before the internet! I love that you can go online to sites like HotelsCombined.com and find hotels. Not only can you find them, but you can compare them, see pictures, find rates and reserve rooms.
Once we decide when exactly we’re going to do this “event”, I’ll be making my reservations. If it’s after school lets out for the summer, which I’m hoping it is, my daughter can come along and I will probably drive. That would be so much easier and I would be able to take more stock with me. If I fly, I’ll be limited as to how much I can bring with me.
I’m really getting excited about this prospect. I have stocked up on fabric, especially over the last week, so I will be sewing a lot over the next couple of months. Not to mention, I am so looking forward to spending time with my family.
