You Gotta See This

Do you wear glasses or contact lenses? I currently do wear prescription glasses and prescription sunglasses and have worn contacts in the past. If you have ever worn glasses or contacts, you know what a pain in the butt it can be. It can be uncomfortable, it can be time consuming and, it can be expensive. I would have to say, in my opinion, most people who wear glasses or contacts have probably thought about having some kind of surgery to correct their vision and eliminate the need for glasses and/or contacts.
Recently, Abbott Medical Optics Inc. (AMO) sponsored the iLASIK Video Contest and they have now announced the winners. This “You Gotta See This” video contest required entrants to submit videos showing the impact of improved vision on their lives for a chance to win cash and prizes — including the $5,000 Grand Prize. There were several different categories, including My Contacts Are Getting In The Way Of My Good Time and My Favorite Sport Or Activity Would Be So Much Cooler With Better Vision with prizes being awarded in all of the different categories. Entrants were pretty creative and I did watch a few of the winning entries. The videos are fun, but also motivating, making me think I should consider iLasik!
