Teacher – Student Pairings

It’s unbelievable how fast time flies by! Here we are, all ready registering my daughter for the 2011-12 school year and we haven’t even finished this year yet! Personally, I think the whole process is more stressful for the parents than it is for the kids. We parents worry about them getting into the right classes, with the right students, the right teachers, the right programs. It’s enough to turn my hair gray, but then again, it’s all ready gray!
Over the years, we’ve been lucky enough to get some very good teachers assigned to my daughter. On the other hand, there have also been a few stinkers we’ve had to deal with. Sometimes it’s just a difference in personalities, but other times, I think it’s more of an issue with the style of teaching. Every student is different too, so what may be good for one, is not necessarily good for the other.
Kidzmet utilizes a Pairing Portrait which gives a snapshot view of your student’s personality type, cognitive style, multiple intelligence strengths and recommended teaching approach to help your child be successful at school. Completing a Pairing Portrait is free and takes only about 10 minutes. The results can then be emailed to your school’s principal or guidance counselor helping them to find the best classroom assignment for your own student in the Fall. Pretty cool huh?!
This is a free service for parents and you can see the Kidzmet Pairing Portrait Questionnaire here: Kidzmet
