It’s been so dark, gray and gloomy here lately, I decided to look through some photos for some brighter colors to cheer me up! I found this, one of my very favorite purses I’ve ever made.

This purse has a unique spring hinged closure and is such a great size for carrying everything we women need without getting too heavy. Aren’t the colors fabulous?!

This fabric always reminds me of Valentine’s Day! I love the browns and red and the print is full of lovely hearts.
I created this small purse a while back and still have it for sale. It’s one of my favorites because of the fabric and the size. I also like the security of the zipper closure, keeps everything from falling out! It does not have any pockets, but it is fully quilted and very strong. I think maybe I will make a cell phone holder to go with it.

Tomorrow I start a 5 week training program at work. It also means I won’t be working from home, I have to actually drive to the office! That of course means I have less computer time and less sewing time. Not sure how I’ll do it, but I’ll try to keep up!
Hope everyone has a great week!

This is one of my favorite purses. I made this with 100% cotton and it has a spring hinge closure. There are roomy pockets inside for organization! The straps are long enough to carry over the shoulder or comfortably in the hand and are reinforced for strength.

My sisters have been so busy lately I just don’t know when they’re finding the time to create all these beautiful bags, but here is yet another one.
In the past few weeks they’ve both spent weekends in Nashville and another in Louisville and yet, I’ve lost count of the number of completed purses and tote bags they’ve made. In fact, they’ve been sending me so many photos, I lost track of which one made this beautiful black and white bag that includes tons of interior pockets and a top zipper closure.
I do know this bag is for sale if anyone is interested!

Isn’t this gorgeous? This is my new purse that I am personally using. This was hand made by my sister Karen and you can see more of her beautiful work in her shop, Kreated by Karen.
I love this bag, it has a ton of pockets inside and a nifty pocket on the back where I can easily slide my cell phone in and out. I’ve been using this purse now for about 2 weeks and I am so happy with it. I was with Karen in Paducah when she purchased this beautiful batik fabric and I hinted to her that I would love to have the purse she was going to make with it. Next thing I new, a box was on my doorstep and inside was this beautiful bag.
Thank you Karen!
