I have to be honest, this is a total plug for my sister’s Etsy shop Kreated by Karen!

She didn’t ask me to do this, but she is my sister and has worked very hard to create some beautiful purses and tote bags. She has also been kind enough to place a couple of my own bags in her shop, including this one which is a craft tote bag, long enough to carry a full set of knitting needles, or anything else you could think of!

Isn’t this tote bag so cute! My sister Grace made it. She’s so good at adding trim and decoration like the ric-rac and button on the pocket. I love the fabric combination she used on this, makes me think spring and warmer weather! It has a nice outside pocket and a top zipper closure. There are a number of useful pockets inside too.

I have been so busy over the past month learning my new job that I’ve been unable to go anywhere near my sewing machine. I’m feeling deprived and my machine is probably feeling neglected. I’m so looking forward to getting back to my crafts, but, in the mean time, I can tell you that my two sisters have been quite busy creating all sorts of wonderful items.

My sister Grace has crafted this tote bag out of all reds, pinks and white quilt quality cotton fabric. It has a pocket on the outside as well as several more on the inside and closes with an 18 inch zipper. She had fun adding the rick rack on the front and the cute heart button to complete the Valentine theme.

I love this fabric with all of the hearts and it so reminds me of Valentine’s Day! I made this bag using 100% quilt quality cotton fabric from Moda. The finished tote bag measures approximately 12″x12″x5″. The large sized tote and handles have an innerlining of polyester batting for added comfort and support. There are also two matching fabric covered buttons on both front and back of the bag.
