This is the sofa that my husband and I purchased about 20 years ago. It, along with the matching loveseat, was perfect in our living room in our first home in California. Since then, it’s been sort of a non-fit. It was okay in Houston, but after that, it really hasn’t matched any of our decor. With this last move, the sofa has been relegated to the garage. The loveseat is in my daughter’s t.v. room, for now.
Finally, my husband has allowed me to donate the sofa to charity. It is now sitting in the driveway waiting to be picked up, along with a few misceallenous items. This has opened up a huge chunk of floor space in the garage!

This is a quilted charm bag that my sister just completed. It is done in a “rag” style with Moda fabrics and is beautiful. It’s completely lined and has reinforced handles and bottom support. This is a larger size bag with many uses. Isn’t it pretty?!

Our puppy Plinko is 10 months old and this was her first experience in snow. She absolutely loved it. She plowed through it, romped, jumped, and basically ran around like a crazy dog. It really was very funny. She just couldn’t figure out why, later in the day, the 4 inches of snow had completely disappeared! This is Dallas after all, wait a few hours and the weather will change.

I know this is supposed to be wordless, but this project took up ALL of my time last week and I feel the need to show off what I spent so much time doing. This photo is of the front of the t-shirt as the last design “Kandy Kueens” has been added. I will show the back of the shirt later.

The post just before this one shows that I’m more of a cat person than a dog person, that certainly doesn’t mean I don’t like dogs. This little one for example. This is Plinko for those of you who don’t know. She is my daughter’s dog, however, I’m the one that spend days with her while my daughter is at school. The dog tends to keep her eye on me at all times, even when she’s trying to make me think she’s asleep. See that little eyeball peaking at me?!

So many of my friends and family are located in the upper midwest and are suffering through one of the coldest and most treacherous winters in years. My sister and her husband are driving to Florida as I write this and are encountering some very dangerous, icy, driving conditions. For all of these people, I dedicate this photo.
