The Sewing Mom

This is what happens if I even attempt to lay out fabric on the floor!  Guess she thought I was laying it all down there just for her to lay on.  If I attempted to relocate the fabric squares to another area of the floor, she’d just relocate herself!

I spent 5 days in Paducah, Kentucky attending the 2009 AQS Quilt Show.  This is the collection of fabrics, patterns and sewing notions I brought home with me.  It may not look like much, but it’s enough to keep me busy for the next year (or more!).

My evening ended just as my day began, with a nice surprise. This time it was a lovely German chocolate cake that my husband picked up on his way home from work. German chocolate is my very favorite, so I was quite happy and stuffed once I ate a big piece of it!
